Cumming School of Medicine Alumni of Distinction Award (AODA) in recognition of outstanding achievements in education.
The successful nominee will have made significant and ongoing contributions in education. This could include the education of students via classroom teaching, clinical teaching, mentorship and/or graduate science education. This can also include development of educational programming in any context.
We invite you to nominate University of Calgary Cumming School of Medicine graduates for these prestigious awards. Nominations should be in the Alumni Engagement Office by October 25. The winner will be chosen by the members of the Medicine Alumni Advisory Council and announced in early 2025.
The selection committee will consider challenges that nominees may have faced while still achieving excellence, such as coming from a marginalized, racialized, or remote community or having diverse abilities.
Preference will be given to nominees who have not previously been recognized with an ARCH or AODA award.
